Well... something very "weird? beautiful? terrifying?" happened two nights ago...
Ok... here is what happened:
That night I was about to put Natalia in her crib... so, we have our routine and we followed it... Natalia seemed to be tired... but... when I was in the rocking chair... all of a sudden she was completely awake... and not only that... but she was looking at "something" in the dark of her room.... she started smiling SHE EVEN STARTED GIGGLING, LAUGHING and making all sort of noises she had NEVER made before and she seemed TOO excited and trying to "grab" something in the air.... I REALLY REALLY REALLY got scared... she was acting like she had never acted before... not even when she is really happy to see me or when I am dancing for her.... I had a very weird feeling... and I started praying that if she was seeing "something" it would be angels from God.... I kept praying and trying to put her to sleep and even turning her head in another direction but she wouldn't want that... I got so scared that I went downstairs where Josh was watching TV and I told him what happened and that I was really scared.... (Too bad! Because I should Trust GOD MORE I KNOW... but the whole thing was just weird) .... Josh looked at her and Natalia seemed "back to normal" now... in fact... she wasn't excited at all... She fell asleep right away so I was going to put her in her crib but I asked Josh to go with me to her room so we could both pray for her (I always do that, but this time I felt I needed Josh there) ... So, we went upstairs, put her in her crib, prayed and left the room... I closed the door (as I always do so the cat won't get in) and that was it... I went downstairs to wash her bottles and turned on the monitor in the kitchen so I could hear her....
when I turned the monitor on... I just heard her SCREAM!
I looked at Josh so he would come upstairs with me again because I still was feeling very unsettled... he followed me upstairs and when I got to the door of her room.... the door just WOULDN'T OPEN! ... Natalia's scream was just a "ONE TIME" thing... no more crying... I couldn't hear her at all... and the door WAS JUST LOCKED! ... THAT WASN'T POSSIBLE! THOSE DOOR KNOBS we have don't even have a way to lock! they have never locked! The door knob is one of those that are just so the door will close but not lock.... I felt the blood rushed down to my feet... I felt cold! and I just looked at Josh (I can imagine my face) and I said: "It won't open!" HE looked at me (scared too now) and he tried to open the door... IT WOULDN'T OPEN! I just started praying! IN SPANISH! I couldn't stop saying: "Senor Jesucristo por favor que se abra esta puerta!" I can tell you something... Josh looked terrified too! .... he tried to calm me down and he tried to seem peaceful and just said "This is weird!" ... He ran to the basement to get some screwdrivers.... He tried everything... he even removed the doorknob and NOTHING... THAT DOOR WAS COMPLETELY SHUT! .... I at least wanted to hear her cry! It wasn't possible she wasn't crying! she usually gets scared even with her own yawning ... even when I leave her room the noise of the wood under my feet makes her cry a little bit... we were making so much noise trying to open that door and NOTHING! I could hear nothing! ... I prayed that at least I would hear her cry... and there she was ... some "whining" but NOTHING MAJOR... but I had heard her.... Josh ran downstairs for the drill ... and he was drilling trying to do something... THE NOISE WAS SO LOUD... And Natalia wasn't crying... just that little "whining" once in a while... Josh ended up REMOVING THE FRAME of the door... and we could finally get in there after about 30 minutes that seemed the longest in my life!
In a very weird way the thing that "works" to "close the door" was "locked" ... the door knob had broken (who knows how!) and even when we removed it... that thing was still stuck....
Natalia was very peaceful, kind of smiling and with her eyes open but very sleepy...
I KNEW IT! SHE HAD BEEN SEEING ANGELS! some of you might think I am crazy... But I knew it wasn't normal the way she was acting before all that happened... I am sure the angels "knew" what was going to happen.... and they were there even before all that so she would be happy and peaceful during all that crazy moment!
I could barely sleep that night... My heart was still jumping out of my chest for a while.... I praise the Lord because I KNOW HE is always protecting us! and even Natalia was fine and everything was OK His angels were there with her so she wouldn't get terribly scared with all that noise (drilling, kicking, pushing etc.)
I had to share this... I can't stop thinking about it all...
By the way... Natalia had a very peaceful night... after Josh installed the door frame back and a new door knob she was back in her crib sleeping.
... Do you think I am crazy thinking she was literally seeing angels? ... Do you think it was all just a coincidence?
I have still been trying to see if she acts like that again ... and nothing.... she is just all smiley and some panting here and there... that's it...

I would say that in general cases that angels do not show up. Not because they can not, but there are few cases when angels show up. In most cases in the OT when angels show up scholars say that it refers to Jesus. In the NT angels either show up announce Jesus' birth or in Revelation. Even there scholars says that the seven angels in the seven churches refers to pastors. The other angels are actual angels. What I am saying is that events like that do happen, but on a limited basis. Was that one? Only God and Natalia know. This is Nate.
Hey Nate! It's great to "see" you here! .... I agree with you definitely angels don't show up very often (PRAISE THE LORD FOR THAT!) hee hee... I am scared just to even think about "seeing one".... I Know what you are saying.... But who knows... maybe we've seen angels without knowing they were angels, The NT also says:
"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
I just know that Natalia was abnormally peaceful when we were drilling and pushing the door... all that noise would've scared even a sleepy ADULT... It is weird that Natalia was fine with it all.... just after I felt that she was "seeing something" that I couldn't explain...
Were there angels?? Well... Honestly... in this case I am sure there were!... I constantly pray for God to send His angels around her ... and I know angels watch her because the Bible says:
"Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven."
Was she able to LITERALLY see them? I don't know... like you say... Only God and Natalia know.... But were they with her making her peaceful? I know they were.... There was no other way she could've been like that...
It really gave me so much peace... because as a mother now... I realize my ability to protect her is very limited..... (a simple door can stop me!) .... I've always known God's protection is over her ... But it was great to see that even in something SO simple.... when I won't be able to be there for her... God and His angels will...

I don't think that you're crazy. I've never seen an angel myself, but I can recall an occasion with each of my children where I had a notion that they'd been seeing or playing with an angel as a baby. It wasn't until recently that I had an encounter where I was certain of it. Here... I'm gonna copy it from my cmoms journal...
Early this morning I woke up because the two younger kids were up and at 'em. Ezi was sitting on my bed next to me and Shiloh was awake in his bed just staring and moving about. Suddenly, Ezi starts smiling and clapping and pointing to a point infront of my window curtain. He was smiling and staring at that point just below the ceiling and he says "Man!" I turned around to look at what it was that he was seeing and I blinked furiously trying to get the "sleep" out of my eyes. I saw nothing though, but Ezi just kept bouncing, smiling, clapping, pointing, and saying "Man, man!" I said, "What Ezi, you see a man there?" And he goes "Yes! Man!" I then said... is it a nice man? And he says "Yes, nice man." while nodding. Ezi's face was so joyous and full of life. I just starred at him and he went back to do playing with the covers. I waited a few minutes. Suddenly, Shiloh started to laugh and squeal. He was on his back in his crib kicking and playing with seemingly nothing at all. Then I said, "Ezi, is the man still there?" while pointing to the window area. And he says, "No" while shaking his head and looking at me as though I should know the answer already. Then I asked, "Where did he go? Did the man go bye-bye?" And Ezi says "No" I said, "Where is he then? Where did the man go?" And he laughed and pointed over to Shiloh's crib and said "Man there!"
My heart felt so at ease and so peaceful. I felt so blessed. I really think that what Ezi was seeing was an angel watching over us. I can't know for sure of course... or maybe I can pray for confirmation. But I truly believe that it was all a way of the Lord saying "I am here with you, Shannon" I felt so blessed by it all. And I just had to share!
So... that's the story and I had been going through a horrible time... under spiritual attack and I really felt as the the Lord were letting me know that He was there with me... that He knows and cares.
I believe that regaurdless of being an Angel or something else, if it makes a child happy and sleep well then I'm all for it =] A scary experience but a blessing to know that she was just fine.
WOW what an experience! That had to be crazy to actually witness what was going on. I can not say what she saw for sure but it was definitely something there with her keeping her calm throughout the whole situation which is a blessing.

thats a little scary...
maybe Im just geting older, and thats why i cant see those things, i Think that maybe, (I mean i dont believe it, Just thinking)all babies see this kind of things...
they are still very pure, and just a few months ago they were created by God...
